How GoSlotto is funded

Everything on GoSlotto is free — every result, every archive, every statistic, no account and no paywall. Servers, data and the people who keep the numbers correct still cost money, so this page explains, in plain language, who pays for it and what that does and doesn't change.

What an affiliate link actually is

An affiliate link is an ordinary link with a tracking code attached, so the advertiser can see that a visitor came from us. If that visitor later registers — and, depending on the programme, places a bet — the advertiser pays us a share of what they earn. You pay exactly the same prices and get exactly the same offers as someone who typed the bookmaker's address straight into their browser.

You will always be able to tell. Affiliate adverts on GoSlotto are labelled as adverts, and the links are marked as paid links in the page code, which is what search engines require and what honest publishing looks like.

Who we work with

We currently have a commercial relationship with YesPlay (SA Sportsbook (Pty) Ltd), licensed as a bookmaker by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board. We only advertise operators that are licensed to accept bets in South Africa, where most of our readers are. If that list changes, this page changes with it.

Being an advertiser buys advertising space. It does not buy editorial coverage: no operator sees our pages before they are published, no operator can ask for a number, a statistic or a sentence to be changed, and no operator has any say in what we write about the games.

What the commission does not buy

• The results. Every draw is imported automatically from the official source and published as it came. Nothing is edited by hand, by us or by anyone else.
• The statistics. Hot numbers, cold numbers, overdue numbers, pairs and triples are recalculated from the complete draw history after every draw, by the same code, whoever is advertising.
• The predictions. They are generated from past draw data and remain exactly what we have always called them: patterns from history, never a promise. No advertiser can put numbers in front of you through us.
• Our honesty about the odds. Where we write about what a bookmaker pays versus the real mathematical odds, we will keep saying plainly when the maths favours the house — including when the house is a partner of ours.

Where you will see adverts

Adverts appear on the results, predictions and guide pages, always visibly marked. You will not find them on this page, on our responsible gaming page, or in the free results widget that other websites embed — the widget stays clean, because the sites that install it did not sign up to carry betting adverts.
